It has been so long since I have posted to this blog that I almost don't remember how to do it.  I am pretty sure that no one ever looks at this blog anyway. So, I am using it as a test right now.  I am in an EDU Technology class.  I am trying to figure out if it is more convenient to post videos and reflections in a blog, such as this, or with links in a discussion board.  Here is test one.

I am trying to do better at taking a picture a day. Here are some things from June 2011 (thus far).

My 31st birthday!  My co-worker decorated my office with 31 different flavors of ice cream!

And I liked my co-workers idea so much, that I went to Baskin Robbins to get a picture with 31 actual flavors!

Of course, I ran into Alison at Baskin Robbins!  It was like a surprise party for both of us!

This weekend I am checking things off my to do list, and wouldn't you know that blogging was on the list for a year!  It is nice to cross that one off.

Time flies

I am super sorry that I haven't been updating my blog.  I enjoy looking at past posts, and I am sad to not have those memories from the last few months captured.

No time to post pictures now.  I just wanted to check in and say hello.  Work has ben crazy busy, but good.  We went straight from Welcome Week to the Student Leadership Retreat to Chill N Grill.  Next week we is the ward campout... I am the activities chair.  And then three days later, I will leave for Utah to go to my brother's wedding (which I am really excited about!)  A week after my return is our giant Service-Learning activity at work called Into the Streets.  And the following weekend is our ward Halloween Party.  And for all of those less active weekends, I am being the scoreboard operator for ASU volleyball.  I am looking forward to Tahnksgiving, because I think it will be the most mellow weekend of the semester!!

So, Jeff is getting married on October 1st.  I am so excited for him, and I love his fiance, Anna (from the 2 encounters I have had with her... plus the multiple facebook posts.)

Well, I guess that is all I have to say right now.  It is time to go home after my 60 hour work week.  Oh, wait, I am going to ASU volleyball instead of home.  Well, that will be fun too.

Life is great.  I am loving it.

30!!!!

I pretty much suck at updating my blog. It is such a pitty because I have some great pictures and stories to relay. Well today won't be the day for a complete update.

However, let's talk a minute about how I just turned

I am still processing how I feel about this. It is very exciting... and very humbling. Hopefully many great and wonderful things occur in the next decade!

Well, the summer is looking good. My mom is coming to visit. And I have some great road trips planned!

CALIFORNIA!!!

For Spring Break, yes, I still get a Spring Break, Katie and I went to California to visit her parents... and enjoy all San Luis Obispo has to offer.

Our first stop was down on the pier where we got to enjoy the sounds of the sea lions.

We ate at some great places and saw some beautiful sights!

Can you believe that I found the CLEANEST REST ROOMS!!!! The sign even says so!

I know... I was skeptical too. So, here is the proof...?

What do you think? A-Frame worthy? I don't think so. I mean, it was clean... but the whole image can be ruined depending on who was in there before you. :)

There is a dutch town nearby called Solvang. It was a fun place with little shops everywhere.

In San Luis Obispo they have a Farmers Market every Thursday night. It LOVED it! So many interesting things to see!

Mu mom came to visit in February. We had a great time, but I didn't take many pictures. It was a lot of fun to have her here. I wish she were here more often so that we could do all sorts of fun things without cramming them all into a week!

Katie's mom was visiting from California at the same time, so we were able to have a "mom lunch" at Famous Dave's! It was Delicious! pun intended.

I was able to go to a promotional fair where different companies gave out samples of promotional materials. Between Katie, my mom, and me... we made a haul!
